JAMMA wiring diagram:

System Settings Menu

BOOT TO:

Select the loaded game that should be booted when the board is power on.
Default is to boot to the main menu.

When the menu is disabled, booting the board with the JAMMA service switch set to ON will cause the game to boot to the board setup menu.

1P&2P TIMER:

Number of seconds to hold 1P & 2P start buttons when running a game to exit back to the main menu. Settings are
1 Second / 2 Second / 4 Second / OFF

START BUTTONS:
This option allows 1P & 2P to be pressed when running a game without a game starting.

"Press = ON " = when 1P or 2P start buttons are pressed it is passed to the game running.

"ON Release" = when 1P or 2P start is pressed and then released, it is passed to the game running.

SCREEN SAVER: ON/OFF
After 10 minutes of inactivity a screen saver will start drawing random patterns on the screen.

FLIP VERTICAL: ON/OFF
The screen in forced to be inverted, depending on cabinet the screen made need to be flipped for the correct orientation.

ROTATE MODE:
Vert-Horiz : Vertical games are rotated 90 degrees to be horizontally displayed.

Horiz-Vert: Horiz games are rotated 90 degrees to be vertically displayed.

QIX FORCE 60Hz: ON/OFF
Qix uses a slightly different 58Hz refresh rate to all other games.
This can cause a problem with the loss of vertical sync when switching between games.

Turning this option on forces the vertical refresh rate to be 60Hz, as a side effect the game will run slightly faster.

VGA SCAN LINES: ON/OFF

When jumpered for VGA mode this option blanks every second video line, giving the appearance of a CRT display.

SETUP ON BOOT: ON/OFF
ON = when booting the board from either reset or power-on holding 1P & 2P start buttons simultaneously will start the SETUP MENU.

OFF = only holding the service switch "ON" during boot will start the setup menu.
